5 new DAs, 32 incumbents elected unopposed

In five counties, the incumbent DAs did not seek reelection but only one candidate sought each of those offices. In several cases, the outgoing DAs chose their successors.

Five new district attorneys and 32 incumbents were effectively elected as of Wednesday, as the deadline for challengers to get on the ballot passed.

That leaves 21 races with more than one candidate and a recall election in San Francisco County...
