AT&T chief plotted to drop conservative network from DirecTV, lawsuit alleges

“These allegations are completely without merit, particularly as they relate to AT&T and our independent Chairman,” AT&T said in a statement.

The parent company of the San Diego-based conservative One America News Network sued AT&T, claiming executive board Chairman William Kennard was involved in a plot to block the network from being carried on DirecTV.
