Google steers Black employees to dead-end jobs, class action alleges

The lawsuit was filed around the same time another group of Google employees settled claims that they were fired or disciplined for trying to organize.

Black workers at Google are placed in lower-level positions where they are underpaid and denied opportunities to advance, a federal lawsuit and proposed class action alleges.
