Monsanto asks high court to reverse $87M Roundup award

Monsanto, facing thousands of lawsuits over Roundup, has argued that there is no scientific evidence that the weedkiller causes cancer.

Bayer AG-owned Monsanto asked the U.S. Supreme Court for a second time to reverse a California ruling that found the company's glyphosate-based weedkiller Roundup causes cancer. The company's petition argues federal law doesn't require cancer warnings on herbicides.
