Confidentiality clauses threaten Labor Department’s ability to do job, it says

“The department considers confidentiality agreements a direct threat to its ability to effectively enforce the country’s worker protection laws,” Solicitor of Labor Seema Nanda wrote.

The Department of Labor weighed in, negatively, on the effect of confidentiality clauses in arbitration agreements in an amicus curiae brief Monday, saying they hamper the agency's ability to do its job.
