Lawsuit seeks a halt to drilling in San Joaquin Valley

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has failed to quickly decide whether the Temblor legless lizard in California warrants protection under the Endangered Species Act, the Center for Biological Diversity said in a lawsuit filed Wednesday in the Eastern District of California.
