LA judges’ PAC supports 2 incumbents, one was admonished
“After reading the commission’s testimony saying that Judge Carol Elswick failed to promote confidence in her impartiality and displayed poor demeanor in at least three cases, I don’t see why they would support the judge after that,” said sole practitioner Albert Robles, who is challenging the judge.

The Los Angeles Judges PAC has announced initial contributions totaling $165,000 – the biggest donation in the three-year history of the committee – to support the campaigns of two of the challenged judges in the June 7 primary, David B. Gelfound and Carol Elswick.
“I am disappointed and kind of surprised,” Elswick’s challenger, sole practitioner Albert Robles, said in a phone interview Friday when told of the donation to his opponent.
