Google seeks dismissal of claims it benefits from Android users’ cell data

The plaintiffs argued that cellular data is their personal property or, in the alternative, assert a claim of quantum meruit and seek to recover the market value of the data Google allegedly stole.

Google LLC argued in federal court Tuesday against claims it is unjustly enriching itself by converting the cellular data of Android device users.
