‘Talk to the 9th’ US judge tells state in Activision hearing

U.S. District Judge Dale S. Fischer told the state agency to “talk to the 9th Circuit” and flatly rejected its assertion that the consent decree she signed at the end of the hearing between the EEOC and Activision “undermined the rights” of the department.

A federal judge expressed frustration with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing on Tuesday, calling the agency’s latest attempt to stymie a settlement between the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Activision Blizzard case “untimely.”
