San Jose jury awards $102.5 million to sexual abuse victims

The verdict in Santa Clara Superior Court blames the Union School District for not acting sooner on allegations of sex abuse.

A San Jose jury’s $102.5 million award for two former students of a middle school who were sexually abused by a teacher contains no punitive damages.
