“Protein packed” label to be tested in court

According to the lawsuit filed by Good Gustafson Aumais, the ingredient chart for the Power Up snack by Gourmet Inc. misleads the public.

A proposed federal class action against a New Jersey food company over the level of protein in its snacks was filed in San Jose.

One consumer, who is represented by Good Gustafson Aumais in Los Angeles and The Keeton Firm LLC from Pittsburgh, complains that Gourmet Inc. is committing fraud by misleading the public about the amount of ingredients included in Power Up, a trail mix package.
