Earthjustice sues LA Fire Department over oil wells

The complaint says the city has failed to uphold its own Fire Code by allowing drill sites throughout South Los Angeles to remain open even if they are no longer operating.

South Los Angeles residents have gathered to bring a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Fire Department, writing that the agency has failed to uphold laws regarding oil drilling.
