Nominee to federal court in San Diego clears Senate Judiciary Committee

Robert S. Huie is a former federal prosecutor for California’s Southern District and now a litigation partner at Jones Day.

Robert S. Huie’s nomination to the Southern District of California bench on Monday cleared the Senate Judiciary Committee on a 11-10 vote, with a pass by South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham.
