DAs sue San Diego law firm over disability rights lawsuits

Potter Handy LLP is accused of targeting and exploiting small, vulnerable business owners, violating the Americans with Disabilities Act and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act.

San Francisco and Los Angeles District Attorneys Chesa Boudin and George Gascon filed a joint civil complaint Monday against Potter Handy LLP, for allegedly filing “thousands of fraudulent, boilerplate lawsuits against small businesses,” they announced.
