Who protects privacy better? Government or tech companies?
In February, the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee passed the Open App Markets Act, aimed at Apple and Google. It would prevent companies from giving preference to their own products and force them to allow customers to download software from third-party developer websites instead of directly from app stores.
