3 plaintiff groups dispute over possible $45M roundup settlement
The plaintiff group that brought forward the proposed settlement, dubbed the Gilmore Plaintiffs, are accused by two other plaintiff groups of colluding with Monsanto as well as drafting a settlement that “provides for the potential release of claims not based on the identical factual predicate as the claims compensated by the proposed settlement.”




Three groups of plaintiffs disputed Thursday over preliminary approval for a proposed $23 million to $45 million settlement of class allegations that Monsanto illegally marketed, advertised and sold Roundup products without disclosing their risks of cancer and other adverse health effects.
