Patients says doctors should be able to help them end their lives
The law, SB380, also known as the California End of Life Option Act, “requires the patient to self-administer the medication,” Catherine M. Cabalo of Peiffer Wolf Carr Kane & Conway said. ‘It prohibits any assistance with ingestion.”




Terminally ill patients and their doctors asked a U.S. judge on Thursday to declare that the state law prohibiting physicians from aiding suicides discriminates against those unable to take their own life-ending medication.
