Deposition question: Did county lawyers tell DA to change testimony?

An appellate panel ordered a writ be issued for Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin’s deposition in connection with a lawsuit by a former prosecutor who worked for Hestrin’s predecessor.

Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin must be deposed on the question of whether county lawyers advised him to change his planned testimony about the character of his predecessor, Paul Zellerbach, an appellate panel ruled Tuesday.
