SANTA ANA -- An attorney for the state judicial disciplinary agency told a trio of judges Monday why Orange County Superior Court Judge Michael F. Murray should be disciplined over his handling of a murder case he prosecuted long before he took the bench: Although he knew of evidence suggesting that the accused murderer was not to blame for the traffic accident that led to the death of a Los Angeles County deputy sheriff, he did not tell the defense about it.
