Attorney general, Anaheim mayor urge OK of $96 million Angels Stadium housing project

“The purpose of this agreement, which I support, is to bring more housing sooner, not wait around, and develop it right so working families can see which homes they can afford sooner,” said Anaheim Mayor Harry Sidhu.

Hailed as the largest investment in low-cost housing in the history of Anaheim, Mayor Harry Sidhu and California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced Monday a proposed stipulated judgment to possibly end a lawsuit with the city depositing $96 million in a trust fund for the construction of affordable units from the sale of Angel Stadium.
