Former LA utility chief sentenced to 6 years in prison
U.S. District Judge Stanley Blumenfeld Jr. described David H. Wright’s conduct as “egregious” because — while a public servant at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power he executed an “elaborate and sophisticated criminal scheme” that was motivated by “pure greed.”




A former general manager of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was sentenced to six years in a federal prison by a Central District judge after pleading guilty to one count of bribery, the U.S. Department of Justice announced.
