$18.85 settlement for deadly crash may be warning to insurers

“A big part is we want to send a message to insurance companies out there, that they can’t discount the value of someone’s life because they are a minority or of a minority descent,” explained Daniel Ghyczy of Alexandroff Law Group.

Attorney Daniel C. Ghyczy hopes his $18.85 million settlement of a wrongful death car crash claim with Chubb Custom Market Inc. will persuade other insurance companies not to discriminate against victims of minority backgrounds.
