Judge testifies against bench colleague in discipline hearing

Orange County Superior Court Judge Michael F. Murray is facing charges from the state judicial disciplinary agency that he failed to disclose exculpatory evidence to the defense when he prosecuted that case.

A former Orange County public defender, now a judge, testified Friday that she was shocked when she read a transcript of a hearing in a traffic-fatality murder case that strongly implied accident reports by California Highway Patrol officers had been altered and the defense had never been told.
