Hagens Berman wins $26.87M in fees, praise from judge

Steve Berman, a partner at Hagens Berman in Seattle, said, “We are pleased with the result and that Judge Orrick was pleased as well and went on to tell us we should be proud of this case.”

As part of the final approval for a $95 million class action settlement, Judge William H. Orrick compelled Apple to pay $26.87 million in attorney fees to lawyers from Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP.

In addition to the fees for work performed, Apple will have to pay the firm nearly $1.4 million in out-of-pocket litigation expenses as well $27,500 total to the two lead plaintiffs for the class, Vicky Maldonado and Justin Carter.
