Apple says startup poached engineers and stole designs

The technology giant accused Rivos Inc., which promotes itself as a “stealth” startup, and engineers Wen Shih-Chieh and Bhasi Kaithamana of “exploiting Apple’s most valuable trade secrets to compete with Apple unlawfully and unfairly.”

Apple sued a technology startup that hired more than 40 of its engineers, alleging they downloaded and transferred designs for its “system-on-chip” or SoC technology before leaving the company to their new venture.
