Judge rebuts witnesses who said he knew of altered CHP reports
Orange County Superior Court Judge Michael F. Murray said he would never return a call to a reporter he didn’t know, especially on a Sunday at the time his mother-in-law was being treated for leukemia.




A judge facing disciplinary charges that he hid exculpatory evidence when he tried a murder case in 2008 said on the stand Monday that he did not learn about that evidence until 2015, after the case had been remanded for retrial.
