Lawsuit: Authorities ignored signs of women who murdered kids

“They had ample notice that Liliana was suffering from severe mental illness, and ample opportunities to take protective action. Instead, they repeatedly engaged in grossly negligent and reckless conduct and ignored their legally mandated duties in the months before the children’s deaths,” detailed the wrongful death and survivorship case filed by David S. Casey Jr. of Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt Penfield LLP.

A lawsuit has been filed by the estranged partner of Liliana Carrillo, the woman who faces arraignment Tuesday for the admitted murder of their three children last year.
