The State Bar announced that 33.9% of the 3,113 applicants who took the February bar exam passed – representing an 8.9% drop compared to a year ago. The drop was still higher than the February 2020 pass rate however, which reached only 26.8%.
Last February was the first in-person exam since the onset of COVID-19.
