Minor leaguers say they have a deal on wage, hour lawsuit

“The parties are pleased to inform the court that they have reached a settlement of the matter in principle,” wrote Elise M. Bloom, a partner with Proskauer Rose LLP in New York, on behalf of the players.

Attorneys representing the Commissioner of Baseball sent a letter to a federal judge Tuesday saying they have agreed to a confidential settlement with a group of about 50 minor league players over wages and work hours.
