Judge OKs T-shirts with murdered children’s photos in court
During the brief proceedings, Deputy Public Defender Anne C. Gillam asked the judge to consider preventing TV and still camera operators from taking pictures or even being present in the courtroom. “This is a disturbing case and my client is in a fragile state,” the attorney insisted.




LOS ANGELES — A judge denied Tuesday a defense motion to ban cameras from the courtroom during proceedings against a woman who admitted drowning her three young children and also rejected a request to stop relatives from wearing T-shirts with a picture of the victims playing.
The arraignment for Liliana Carrillo, who admitted in a jail house TV interview she killed her children last year, was set for June 20 while she continues in custody ...
