Defendant in ADA suit by Potter Handy speaks up

SOUTH PASADENA — Janice Lupien is one of the hundreds of California small business proprietors who were sued by Potter Handy LLP for noncompliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Specifically, the San Francisco-based law office claimed that the web page for Arroyo Vista Inn, a bed-and-breakfast spot in South Pasadena, did not offer hearing device assistance to one of their clients who is legally blind.
