Social media companies ask U.S. High Court to stay Texas law

The Texas law would force social media companies to publish Holocaust denials, ISIS propaganda, or posts encouraging children to engage in unsafe behavior, according to Scott A. Keller, a partner with Lehotsky Keller LLP who represents the technology industry groups.

Technology industry groups representing Silicon Valley social media companies filed an emergency petition with the U.S. Supreme Court asking the justices to stay a Texas law they say violates their First Amendment rights.
