2 agencies in trial over water distribution in San Diego County

Yet another trial opens between Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, a regional water wholesaler, and San Diego County Water Authority, about rates and payment.

The trial between two public agencies that distribute water throughout southern California began Monday over claims that Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, a regional water wholesaler, sold water to one of its 26 member agencies, San Diego County Water Authority, at an inflated and illegal rate.
