Santa Rosa and Seaside law schools announce merger

Empire College of Law, a branch of Monterey College of Law, will start administrative operations in July. "We are very excited about adding the Santa Rosa and Northern California region to our campus," Mitchel L. Winick, dean of Monterey College of Law.

Seaside’s Monterey College of Law has announced the merger of Santa Rosa’s Empire College School of Law into its nonprofit, part-time program as a branch campus.

The new branch will start administrative operations in July and it will be known from now on as Empire College of Law, a Branch of Monterey College of Law, which has no shareholders and has been non profit for 50 years.
