Tangled civil, criminal cases proceed after Tesla autopilot crash

The case, with a hearing in August over the plaintiffs request to file a second amended complaint, already has been tangled by multiple plaintiffs, cross-plaintiffs defendants and cross-defendants. Tesla is among the defendants and cross-complainants.

A lawsuit involving a Tesla operating on automatic pilot and a subsequent deadly crash is headed to a second amended complaint in civil court and a manslaughter arraignment in criminal court this summer.
