Alleged defective airbags in millions of cars bring class action

The complaint – filed jointly by 10 lawyers from Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy; Newsome Melton; Levin, Papantonio, Rafferty, Proctor, Buchanan, O’Brien, Barr, and Mougey; and The Davenport Law Firm – is said to represent up to tens of thousands of plaintiffs.

A proposed class action over allegedly defective airbags in millions of cars names car industry titans including Audi, Ford, GM, and Volkswagen as well as Joyson Safety Systems, a component manufacturer that recently acquired the company responsible for one of the auto industry’s largest recalls.
