Lawyer: No evidence Walgreens paid 3rd parties to boost opioid sales

San Francisco has put on a parade of experts to try to show that all of the companies in the opioid supply chain bore responsibility for flooding the streets with opioids as they sought to reap huge profits.

San Francisco’s case against several opioid suppliers has been in trial for a month, and the city is still putting on its case-in-chief, trying to show that callous business practices and large donations to third party organizations led to a crisis in the city and county.
