Avenatti should serve 3 years and a day in prison in Stormy Daniels case, prosecutors say

Sentencing is scheduled Thursday U.S. District Judge Jesse M. Furman in Manhattan.

Federal prosecutors in New York want Michael Avenatti sentenced to three years and one day in prison on his conviction of stealing a $300,000 book advance from his former client, the porn star known as Stormy Daniels.
