Privacy law rules to be considered by board next week

“The draft makes it clear that regulated businesses have their work cut out for them whether or not they are located in California,” said Brandon P. Reilly of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.

The California Privacy Protection Agency released draft rules for companies sharing and selling consumer information, along with opt-out and disclosure rules.
