Beyond Meat Inc. lies about its protein content, lawsuit alleges

Don Lee Farms had a business relationship with Beyond Meat that turned sour. The company has another case pending in state court for breach of contract.

Beyond Meat Inc. is engaging in false advertising and unfair competition by overstating the protein value of its products and falsely representing that its products are free from synthetic ingredients, alleges a federal lawsuit filed in Los Angeles by a former business partner.

In a statement, Beyond Meat said Friday, “The allegations in the filing lack merit and we are prepared to vigorously fight this in court.”
