Google agrees to pay $118M to settle female workers’ class action

Independent third party experts will evaluate the tech company’s hiring practices and review its salaries, as part of the deal.

Google has agreed to pay $118 million to settle a class action covering 15,500 female employees who claimed the company was underpaying them when compared to their male counterparts.
