Oracle wins $30M from HPE for copyright, interference

“After more than three weeks of trial and nearly 400 exhibits, we’re thrilled the jury came to the same conclusion we did,” Oracle’s counsel, Latham & Watkins, said in a news release.

Software company Oracle won $30 million in its unfair competition trial against computer technology manufacturer Hewlett-Packard Tuesday when an Oakland federal jury found copyright infringement and interference with Oracle's contracts and prospective economic advantage.
