5th grader sues after porn sent from his Google account

The student and his parents accuse the school district of forcing him to use Google Classroom on a provided Google Chromebook for remote learning and refusing to provide an alternative path for his education or a new account after he discovered his account had been compromised.

Google LLC and the Fremont Unified School District are fighting a lawsuit from a 5th grade student who was disciplined after being accused of sending sexually explicit content to his teacher, an action the child said was done by someone who hacked his Google Classroom account.
