Rolling dice, Avenatti pleads guilty to some charges

SANTA ANA — While admitting for the first time he cheated clients and the IRS, suspended attorney Michael J. Avenatti indicated Thursday he plans to argue he stole less money than the government alleges, seek dismissal of another 31 federal charges and appeal all of his convictions.
