Utilities fined over guidelines for power shutoffs in wildfires
The California Public Utilities Commission on Thursday proposed fining three utilities a total of $22 million over power shutoffs to prevent wildfires.
Pacific Gas and Electric Company would be fined $12 million, Southern California Edison $10 million, and San Diego Gas & Electric $24,000.
