9th Circuit vacates agency decision on weedkiller ingredient

Bayer already agreed to withdraw glyphosate products from residential market to mitigate litigation but denies that it causes cancer.

A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel on Friday vacated an interim decision by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency concluding that glyphosate, the key ingredient in Roundup weedkiller, was not likely to be a human carcinogen.
