Unknown group tries to save bar’s sandbox proposals in Legislature

“It seems like they’re a lobbying group, but none of them are registered lobbyists, so that’s concerning,” said Micha Star Liberty, a past president of the consumer attorneys group and a member of the bar’s Closing the Justice Gap Working Group.

A new organization has mobilized to save the State Bar’s sandbox proposals ahead of a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday on the bar dues bill.
