Drivers try new tactic in fight with rideshare companies: Antitrust

The complaint argues at its core that Uber and Lyft’s conduct “harms competition in both the labor market as well as the consumer market. Customers pay more, and drivers earn less.”

Drivers sued Uber and Lyft Tuesday, saying the companies engaged in fare price-fixing, which deprives the drivers of the freedoms of the independent contractors while also denying them employee benefits.
