A U.S. judge in San Francisco rejected Thursday a requested modification of the state’s End of Life Option Act to allow doctors to aid suicides.
“The modification that the plaintiffs seek would fundamentally alter the act for another, independent reason,” stated U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria in the order granting the state’s motion to dismiss.
