Erika Girardi must give up earrings, bankruptcy judge says
“It’s clear to me that this was intended to be a fraud by Mr. Girardi,” Central District Bankruptcy Judge Barry Russell said during a hearing on the matter. “It’s clear that this was an embezzlement. This was a theft.”




LOS ANGELES — A bankruptcy judge expressed interest Tuesday in ordering “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” performer Erika Girardi to surrender a $750,000 pair of earrings that she received from her husband, attorney Thomas V. Girardi. A trustee of the attorney’s law firm, Girardi Keese, said the earrings had been improperly purchased from the firm’s client trust account.
